New Music of the Day: Tenacious D today confirmed the long-awaited follow-up to 2006’s Pick of Destiny will in fact be titled Rize of the Fenix.
In addition to cover art, the band — still just Jack Black and Kyle Gass — has released a snippet from the album’s title track, which you can hear below.
Earlier today Tenacious D announced their first tour stop in support of the new LP — the annual Sasquatch music festival in George, Washington.
Rize of the Fenix is expected to hit stores sometime this May.
